About Us
Applied Education’s mission is to provide participants with career-oriented and job related skill training that will allow them to meet the employment needs of the business community. The courses offered are those in Microsoft Office, Macromedia, Adobe, MYOB and QuickBooks and other unique courses which run throughout the year. Applied Education has also tailored its service offering to include onsite group training and computer rooms that are available for hire. In just a few years, our selection of courses has expanded rapidly to meet demand for training in a wide range of software applications and business skills, at a variety of levels. And by responding to this demand with up-to-date content delivered by some of Australia's finest specialist trainers, Applied Education has become one of Australia's leading providers of training services. As you'll see, there a number of reasons why Applied Education is now the trainer of choice for some of Australia's best known organisations.
Our Approach
As well as being subject matter experts, the people behind the Applied Education are training professionals. That's why each and every course we conduct has an intensely practical "learning by doing" emphasis, with no more than 12 participants per computer class. This ensures that every participant has the maximum opportunity to develop and reinforce new skills, as well as ask questions. We make it as easy as possible for participants to transfer their new skills to the workplace by including comprehensive training manuals and sample data. As a matter of policy, all of our trainers are highly qualified professionals with a keen understanding of the real-life challenges you face every day. But as important as training techniques are, they are only part of the skills equation in today's rapidly changing environment. All courses offered by the Applied Education are updated regularly to reflect the latest in both software and professional techniques - and our course list reflects the dynamic requirements of our clients in many business sectors.
Recruitment
Whilst we have a full complement of staff right now, from time to time we will be seeking to attract top trainers to our Training Division. To be successful, applicants will have a positive and creative approach to developing sustainable relationships and solutions. As part of our team you will be required to facilitate a variety of Microsoft, Adobe, Macromedia, MYOB and QuickBooks courses at either our Perth office or at our client’s offices. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to promote additional training opportunities through your client relationships. Prior experience delivering training courses in all these programs is essential. A Certificate IV Workplace Trainer & Assessor qualification would be highly regarded.
